Restoring the Earth -A Photo Lecture by Award-winning Environmentalist Alan Watson Featherstone

April 9th, 2007

I just heard of this lecture tomorrow night, and given the latest message from scientists, environmentalists and progressive world leaders I think it's a great opportunity to turn our attention to the importance of our environment …in a much bigger way than we've done to date. It is becoming clearer to me every minute: that humanity must now focus on living sustainably on the planet and that all of us must play a role in this massive change. Award-winning environmental leader and photographer Alan Watson Featherstone will speak on this great task.

    When: Tuesday April 10, 2007, 7;30pm
Where: Lecture room N003, Poly U, TST, Kowloon

I hope to see you there!

'Peace is Every Step' Author in Hong Kong

April 7th, 2007

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh has written some of my favorite books full of poetic reminders about how to find joy in every moment of our lives. So I'm very excited that he's coming to Hong Kong in May for a series of talks and retreats. This 80-year-old Vietnamese Buddhist monk is one of the most influential Buddhist spiritual leaders in the world.  His lifelong efforts to generate peace and reconciliation moved Martin Luther King, Jr. to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. He was also honoured in TIME magazine's 60 Years of Asian Heroes in 2006.

When & Where: May 11 to 18, various times and venues
How much: Talks are free, retreats are very reasonable
TIP: Tickets available from April 15th.

Survive” by Jared Diamond and it's really waking me up! Environmental
sustainability is the big issue for our generation. So it's timely that I've discovered a couple of tools to help us reduce our impact on the environment. Please see if you can help too.

Get Unstuck –Release Your Negative Feelings

March 6th, 2007

Just want to let you know that Ray Lewis is in Hong Kong for the month of March, 2007 providing The Release Effect for anyone who wants to take a huge leap forward in enjoying their lives.

I've told you about this before. See here. And I haven't changed my mind about how powerful, practical and easy this process is. One day –in the far distant future when we understand much more fully the way humans work– everyone will do it. It will be like going to the dentist, except you only go maybe once a decade.

But the problem is, if I sound too dramatic and convinced about this process, people start to think it is too good to be true. So I'll tell you, it's not perfect, but it is very, very good.

And this month you can try it here in Hong Kong! See here. Or just call Ray directly on 926 936 44 to make your appointment.
