I agree totally that we need to create new models.. . what do you say to creating them based on our strengths, as women, as individuals?  I think that the resonance between early feminist psychologists such as Jean Baker Miller and Carol Gilligan and the fields of Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry is a great starting place for developing a vision for and practices that build authenticity, strengths, and connection.  

My positive psychology colleagues and I develop this more in our recent book, Women&#039;s Paths To Happiness, and it does include an essay on leadership by Judith Touchton that might interest you.  I look forward to reading more of your posts here--thank you!
